Privacy Policy

Adnoto records what you say, turns it into a written note, and keeps it for you. This page explains exactly what that involves — what is collected, where it goes, how long it stays, and how to get rid of it.

Your audio recordings are not kept. A recording is sent for transcription, the text comes back, and the audio is discarded. Adnoto does not store your recordings and no one at Adnoto listens to them.

What is collected

Who processes it

Adnoto uses a small number of established services to work. Each receives only what it needs.

What is never done

How long things are kept

Your notes stay until you ask for them to be deleted or for your account to be closed. Error reports and email records are kept for up to twelve months so that problems can be diagnosed. Audio is discarded immediately after transcription.

Your rights over your data

To make any of these requests, email the address below. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

Children

Adnoto is not intended for children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact the address below and it will be removed.

Security

All traffic between your device and Adnoto is encrypted in transit. Notes are stored with row-level access control so that your account can only ever reach its own data. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects your data you will be told promptly.

Where your data is held

Adnoto's infrastructure providers operate data centres in the United States and Europe, so your notes may be processed in either. By using Adnoto you agree to that transfer.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, the date at the top will be updated and you will be told in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
